Porsche 911 GT3 RS

With more power, a revised chassis and additional downforce, the updated 911 GT3 RS was a star of the Porsche stand at the recent Geneva Motor Show.

There are some minor visual updates – new lights and a revised front bumper – but the big changes are revisions to the air intake and exhaust that squeeze an extra 20bhp and 10Nm of torque from the 4.0-litre engine. Peugeot 508

Peugeot’s push into the SUV market hasn’t come at the expense of the development of a new version of its flagship family hatch, the 508.

As with the 3008 and 5008, the latest 508 is based on the manufacturer’s EMP2 platform, which in turn means it will eventually be available with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

For the car’s launch in the autumn, however, Peugeot will stick with a line-up of conventional engines with power outputs ranging from 128bhp to 222bhp. Nissan Leaf
